Monte Tots Preschool, owned by SCS Chamber Co-Founder Amy Florek, is a premier early childhood learning center dedicated to shaping the minds of St. Clair Shores’ youngest residents. Located right in the heart of the city on Jefferson Avenue, the program provides a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment designed to prepare children for kindergarten and beyond.

The center stands out by offering a well-rounded educational experience that seamlessly blends traditional early childhood learning with proven Montessori-inspired teaching methods. Through engaging indoor and outdoor play-based activities, the dedicated team of experienced educators focuses on fostering curiosity, creativity, and lifelong confidence in every child.

Serving families with children from 6 weeks through 6 years old, Monte Tots is actively expanding to meet the growing needs of the local workforce. A highly anticipated expansion is opening in Fall 2026, offering a limited number of new enrollment spots specifically tailored for infants and toddlers.
